Who are we?
My name is Bert Vlot, 3rd generation of a butcher family from the
After having completed the education to become a butcher, I have continued my
parents’ business from 1997 till 2017. I, however had a dream to
emigrate to the Dordogne with my family and to exercise my profession
in a different culture and part of Europe.
My preferred cow breed has always been the Limousine. The structure
of the meat and its unique taste are in my opinion very hard to surpass. I
now have the chance to process the meat of this particular breed of our
own home bred cows.
Because of the fact that there is a lot more space, the animals can really
develop themselves in all freedom. Respect for nature and animal
welfare are of paramount importance, and are also translated into a
high-quality end product.
